The NX cello uses the same Polar??TM pickup system as the NS Design CR cellos, but the system is passive, so there's no battery. Output signal is strong, and the tone is warm and beautiful when paired with a good acoustic instrument or bass amplifier. No headphone jack, but you can attach phones to your amp or effect pedal. This cello is a medium amber color over a flamed maple top, darkening towards the edges. Now called Sunburst. NS Design padded gig bag and tripod stand are included.
